Jaehwan Lee is a Ph.D. student in the Graduate School of Data Science at KAIST, Daejeon, Korea and a member of the Computational Optimization Methods (COMET) Lab led by Prof. Changhyun Kwon. He received a B.A. degree in applied statistics from Yonsei University, Seoul, Korea. His current research mainly focuses on the integration of quantum computing and operations research. Specifically, his main goal is to develop data-driven decision-making methodologies under uncertainty by leveraging quantum computing and operations research, for preserving sustainability of the Earth. His research interests include but are not limited to quantum machine learning, quantum optimization, quantum simulation, data-driven optimization, contextual optimization, and sustainability.
